The Enquirer understands Willmott Dixon has won the race to build-out the site being developed by Taylor Wimpey and Countryside Properties.
One rival bidder said: “Willmott Dixon have got this one – it’s just a question of signing the contract and making everything official.”
Bidders for the job were hopeful it could lead to securing other plots on the site with a total value of up to £200m.
The initial contract is to build five residential blocks containing more than 200 apartments on the site next to the O2.
