Happy Christmas and a few New Year wishes

Our morning news bulletins will be restarting after the Christmas break on Wednesday January 2.

Everyone at the Enquirer would just like to take this opportunity to wish all our readers a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

We’d also like to thank-you for reading in 2012 and supporting our growth to become construction’s number one source of news and business information.

It’s been another tough year for the industry and our three biggest wishes for 2013 are:

1) The Government backs up its words with action and kick-starts the extra investment we are all crying out for

2) Clients stop screwing down prices to rock bottom and help end suicide bidding which is a blight on everyone

3) Subcontractors get paid on time with a fair price for the job – late payment is driving good firms to the wall while unfair haggling over variations and retentions is a plague on specialists everywhere.

Have a great break and here’s to a better New Year throughout which the Enquirer will continue to provide free, fast and relevant news and information direct to your desktop, mobile or tablet.
