The contract ends nine months of a competitive dialogue process, during which the council liaised closely with all parties to ensure that all tenders submitted were fully compliant with the guidelines and requirements outlined by the council.
Project management services under the framework cover all core council buildings, and include move management, cost management, space planning, design and construction design management coordination.
Tony Turner, Interserve’s head of project management said: “After an intense period of working through the competitive dialogue process to become preferred bidder, we were really pleased to be awarded this prestigious, long-term contract.
“Our focus on high quality, collaborative service delivery meant that we were able to see off some fierce competition.”
