The win comes just weeks after the firm was rescued from administration by a management buyout.
Alan Cooper, Managing Director at Hewlett, said: “This is a great start to a new and successful future for the business.”
Hewlett was put into administration by Lloyds TSB in January.
But bosses at the firm blasted the bankers for acting prematurely and bought the company in a deal which saved 300 jobs.
Hewlett has provided professional support to the Bela project – known as Priors Hall – since 2010 and has been involved in all stages of the delivery process, design and construction.
Priors Hall is transforming a mostly derelict and abandoned site on the eastern flank of Corby to create a community of over 5,000 homes.
Supporting facilities already on the site include the new £30m Corby Business Academy and Corby Enterprise Centre.
Hewlett is now contracted to be on site until 2015 and the scope of works includes earthworks, roads and drainage.
Cooper said: “The award of this contract provides a timely stimulus for the business and is testament to the strength of our team.
“We are delighted to be involved in this visionary project and look forward to supporting its successful delivery into the future.
“We are working closely with the multi-disciplinary consultant team at Priors Hall to deliver an exceptional standard of development.”
Roy Wilson, Director at Bela Partnership Ltd, said: “It is a highly ambitious site and as such we wanted a contractor with an impressive track record and experience to match which is why we chose to work with Hewlett.
“I am delighted to welcome them aboard”
