The crane hirer bought the first Liebherr LTM 1350 in the UK and has followed the deal up with a new order after the mobile crane offered much greater flexibility in tight spots for heavy lifts.
Wayne Baldwin said: “The Liebherr LTM 1350 crane is a remarkably versatile crane, which fits neatly into our range.
“Its compactness, speed of setup and flexibility of operation gives us many different solutions to offer our customers when looking at their problems.
“This range of options is something that is increasingly important in these competitive times. “

The LTM 1350 6.1 has six axles and a lifting capacity of 350 tonne. The telescopic boom and the flexible lattice jib system give a wide range of operating configurations. The lifting capacity across the range is significantly increased by use of the Liebherr Y suspension system which adds greater stability and load capacity.
The eight-axle LTM 1500-8.1 is equipped with a 7-section, 84 m telescopic boom. The lattice jib, reaching lengths of up to 91 m, extends the operating range of this 500-tonne crane to 142 m hoisting height and 108 m reach.
Richard Everist, Managing Director of Liebherr Great Britain and Ireland adds “it is a great pleasure to work with Baldwins, we are pleased they purchased the first LTM1350 crane in the country and have now followed that up with this repeat order, we wish them every success.”
