The water company plans to let several new frameworks for the next regulatory spending period and has suggested these may even last for 10 years extending them into AMP7.
A supplier engagement day will be held on 24 April to set out plans for the main Construction Delivery Partner frameworks.
Interested firms should email amp-6procurement@uuplc.co.uk stating the names of up to two people wanting to attend and brief description of the firm’s expertise.
The value and content of the AMP6 programme will not be finalised by the regulator until November 2014. But spend over the April 2015 to March 2020 period is expected to be £2bn-£3bn.
Typical projects will range in value from £500,000-£20m.
Total work delivered through the combined Construction Delivery Partner frameworks will vary in each year of the AMP period from £120m-£370m annually.
