Under the deal Hodge Plant will be responsible for the UK sales, service and rental of the crushing and screening equipment.
Hodge Plant now employs 47 staff including a crushing and screening division with six dedicated service personnel.
The Scottish firm owns and operates a diverse hire fleet of over 100 machines including Atlas Copco heavy hydraulic hammers and a wide range of earthmoving equipment.
Alistair Hodge, Director of Hodge Plant, said: “I was drawn to Atlas Copco because of the superb build quality and simple operation of the range.
“I’m in the unique position where I own the equipment for rental and sell to end users at our new depot in Blantyre.
“I can literally show potential buyers why they should choose Atlas Copco. The benefits of Atlas Copco over the competition are the sheer build quality of the product, value for money and very high production of the machines.”
Alistair Hodge and an Atlas Copco PC4 jaw crusher will be on the Atlas Copco stand, M4 at Plantworx, 14-16 May.
