Alard founder and managing director Graham Cooper is retiring from the firm following the acquisition.
David Shiel, SPIE operations manager will head up the £4m turnover business, which joins the UK group.
Over 26 years Alard built up a strong client base including the Manchester United Football Club, ALDI Stores, United Biscuits and Mersey Docks.
The firm specialises in TEGG testing, which allows the company to test live equipment using harmonics, sound and thermal imaging.
