The new four-year contracts, with options for a two-year extension, are due to come into force at the start of next year.
Lambeth said it hoped to shortlist a dozen firms for the framework race covering mainly external works to its estate of 33,300 council homes.
Works will be focused on roof, window and external door replacements, but there will also be an element of internal decent homes upgrades.
The three highest scoring contractors will be allocated central, north and south areas within the borough. Two other firms will be put on the reserve list to draft in if a firm prematurely exits a contract or is unable to handle the work schedule.
PQQs need to be complete by 30 May and con be found on the procurement portal.
