Winstanley had been trading since 1926 and employed 80 people with a turnover of £14m.
The family-owned firm specialised in refurbishment and new build contracts up to £6m in value.
It also specialised in UPVC and aluminium glazing systems and bespoke joinery products.
Winstanley fell into liquidation late last month and a creditors meeting was due to be held in Manchester today.
