The Constructionline hosted event in Stafford next Tuesday is for subcontractors and tradespeople based within 45 miles of Stafford and the South Staffordshire borders.
Work up for grabs will cover aids and adaptations, asbestos testing, asbestos removal, electrical works, groundworks, fencing, bricklaying, joinery, pest control, CCTV, aerials, lightening protection, multi-skilled trades, painting, plastering, plumbing, roofing, scaffolding, smoke and fire detection, stair lifts, and water treatments, and other compliance works.
Claire Makin, business development manager from Constructionline, said: “In our experience, it can be hard for suppliers to get opportunities to work with buyers, especially on projects of this size within their local community.
“For this reason, it is great to see Housing Plus sourcing local subcontractors to help deliver this project.
“Hosting events like this is one of the many added-value benefits we provide for our suppliers – we want to help them find and secure work and also make it easier for businesses to find reliable and local construction companies.”
Housing Plus’s director of property services, Steve Collins, said: “Boosting local economies is a key part of our approach and we’re delighted that this project is creating opportunities for local individuals and businesses.”
The event is free and registration is advised to avoid disappointment.
