Up to 16 places on the four-year deal are up for grabs.
The New Build Contractor framework will cover work on new homes between 201 and 2018 with a potential investment of up to £100m.
The council said: “Islington Council envisages that its new homes programme will enable the building of around 400 new homes to be commenced in the period 2014-18 although the size and timing of schemes is dependent on site/opportunity identification, planning and related issues, and assumed levels of funding, particularly capital receipts from homes built for sale.”
The deal is divided into two lots covering contracts under and above £2m.
