The extension reflects the partnership that has developed between Interserve and the Home Office since it started delivering facilities services in 2008.
Under the deal, Interserve delivers a cleaning, catering, maintenance and security services across 400 buildings.
Keith Dorling, Managing Director – Civil Government at Interserve said: “This contract extension highlights the strong relationship that has developed between Interserve and the Home Office over the past five years.
As part of our contract, we have helped the Home Office realise substantial savings.
One innovative idea was to implement a new ‘real time’ mobile working and scheduling system for both planned and reactive works.
This has resulted in an increase in engineer productivity and a reduction in the amount of administration and paperwork.”
