The job is the latest of a £54m batch of housing jobs largely being developed and built by Durkan, which have started construction in and around London.
Durkan Estates’ £13m residential-led development at Deptford Creek will provide 85 apartments as well as live and work units and commercial space.
The plans include an 88-space cycle park and dedicated disabled parking bays and solar panels to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 status.
Its largest project under construction is a £20m development of 98 residential apartments over 13 floors in Croydon.
The residential provider for the homes is AmicusHorizon and the developer is Scarbrook Road Developments LLP, part of Durkan.
The £140m turnover firm is also building four new blocks of apartments at Union Road in Lambeth, on behalf of Notting Hill Housing Group for £11m that are due to complete March 2015.
In West London, the firm is working on a £10m housing job in Ealing involving the demolition of existing council blocks to provide 60 homes comprising 26 terraced houses and a single block of 34 apartments.
