Family-owned Spence has won the key refurbishment contract as part of the revamp of Victoria Place shopping centre, which sits above Victoria station.
The £15m refurbishment and expansion of the 83,000 sq ft Victoria Place shopping centre at Victoria station will add an extra 10,000 sq ft of new space to the shopping centre.
Spence’s £8.5m contract will involve structural changes, mechanical and electrical installations, complete refurbishment of common areas and shell core preparation to the new retail areas. Several packages of work will be carried out in-house, as well as via their partners Kingfell Engineering.
The 26-week project will be overseen by a leadership team of directors, headed by Dan Coleman.
