The London Borough of Brent has selected developers Bouygues and Londonewcastle as preferred partners for a £65m residential-led scheme in South Kilburn, London.

The joint venture will deliver a mixed-use project of 144 homes at Site 11B, adjacent to Queen’s Park station, as part of the £400m regeneration of the area with 2,400 homes.

A two-year construction programme is targeted to start early next year.

Brent Council’s lead member for major projects councillor Crane said: “This new development will be a real asset to the regeneration of South Kilburn.

“Our aim is to develop housing of a high standard, in great neighbourhoods, to suit most budgets. This scheme, thanks to the support of our partners, is an example of how we are making that possible.”

Robert Soning, Chief Operating Officer of Londonewcastle said: ”We’re excited to be working with Bouygues Development and LB Brent on this significant regeneration project that will deliver state of the art residential accommodation in an area known for Victorian conversions.

“We believe this will offer a step change in the quality and sophistication of homes offered in the buoyant Queen’s Park area.”
