An OJEU notice for the Woolwich Box and Portal Fit-out Works (C530) contract was published today valuing the work at between £75m and £100m.
A funding deal for fitting-out the new station was finalised last week with Berkeley Homes, the Royal Borough of Greenwich and TfL.
Crossrail said the contract comprises of “completion of the detailed design including progressing the design from RIBA Stage E to F of the mechanical and electrical services and the architectural finishes, manufacture, supply, construction (including the completion of any remaining civil / structural works not carried by others), installation, testing, commissioning, caretaker period maintenace and handover of the works associated with the Woolwich Box, North Woolwich Portal fit-out, Plumstead Portal fit-out, and possibly the fit-out of the Connaught Tunnel Drainage Headhouse and Support Building.”
Berkeley Homes completed the basic station box in March and work on the four-year fit-out programme is expected to start in 2014.
