The project for Liverpool City Council will see a new school built on land which neighbours the existing school site on Croxteth Drive.
The new school will be considerably larger than the existing building with intake rising from 129 to 150 pupils across each year group.
The scheme is being funded and supported by the Liverpool School Investment Programme, created by Mayor Joe Anderson.
Barry Roberts, area director for Morgan Sindall, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to this ambitious scheme to redevelop St Hilda’s CE High School. Increased pressure on local schools to provide high-quality education facilities for a growing population is a key issue in Merseyside and one we’re pleased to be playing a part in tackling.
“Morgan Sindall has great depth of experience in education construction and we’re well versed in delivering projects across the country on time and on budget. We’re looking forward to working with Liverpool City Council to deliver these education facilities for people in the local area.”

The company is also working on a £7m project to expand Liverpool Science Park.
The project team is currently constructing a new four-storey building named Innovation Centre 3 (ic3), which will provide 42,000 sq ft of additional office and laboratory space at the site.
