The move follows the invitation to tender for the first £150m tranche of privately-financed schools in Hertfordshire, Luton and Reading and the north east batch.
The north west batch is worth £93m and comprises a dozen schools, including two first schools – The Deanery Church of England High School and Sixth Form Centre in Wigan and Plymouth Grove Primary school in Manchester.
The main part of the bidders’ day will take place on Wednesday, 23 October at The Deanery school in Frog Lane, Wigan.
The EFA said the day will give firms a chance to hear more about the next batch and details of how interested parties can get involved.
Contractors are being asked to design, build, finance and maintain the schools over a period of 25 years.
Funding will be provided through the Government’s PF2 aggregator model which will see a single organisation provide debt funding for contractors.
