Elliot has been advising the firm since 2004 when he was appointed as a non-executive director by owner and chief executive Brendan Kerr.
Keltbray said Elliott will now “take a more hands-on role” to free-up Kerr to “develop the company’s strategic partnerships.”
Kerr said: “As part of our corporate governance, Keith has led the Board and provided support and advice to Keltbray for some time now, and we have greatly benefited from his more than 30 years’ of business experience in engineering and construction.
“I am pleased he has now agreed to take on a more hands-on role in the day to day management of Keltbray, while continuing to provide strategic support and advice and remaining a key ambassador for us externally.
“This organisational change will allow me to spend more time developing our key partnerships with customers and other stakeholders; which have been the bedrock of our expansion and success over the past decade.”
Elliott is a former partner and regional president in the Bechtel Group and also currently serves as Senior Non-Executive Director at Severfield Rowen.
