The Enquirer revealed earlier this week that Silverdell Chief Executive Officer Sean Nutley has become a director of asbestos removal specialist Ark Environmental (UK).
Further investigations of Ark’s new structure reveal that directors of Rcapital also have an interest in the firm.
Rcapital rescued Silverdell in a £1 deal last year when they took on the firm’s estimated debts of £16m.
Rcapital CEO Jamie Constable and COO Peter Ward are directors of OBS Directors LLP and OBS 24 LLP.
Companies House records show that both OBS firms were appointed as corporate directors of Ark Enviornmental (UK) on the same day Nutley became a director last week.
The OBS firms have the same registered office as Rcapital in London’s Mayfair.
The future of Silverdell and its main subsidiary EDS remains uncertain following a financial crisis at the company.
Silverdell has delisted from the AIM market while EDS has filed a Notice of Intent to appoint an administrator.
The Enquirer has been deluged with calls from suppliers and staff who are angry with the way the situation is being handled.
Shareholders left with large losses following Silverdell’s delisting are also holding a meeting next week to discuss what action they can take.
