The £18m-turnover specialist has worked for a host of major names including Bouygues, Willmott Dixon, ISG and Galliford Try across London.
The Enquirer understands that firms working with Silverline were given the news yesterday.
One project management specialist said: “We were due to start on a job yesterday and were told just as our guys were being given an induction.”
Silverline was due to start at 82 Baker Street where Faithdean is main contractor for a £10m office extension and refurbishment.
A Faithdean source said: “They were working with us but we’ve been told they won’t be any more.
“It’s a bit unclear what the exact situation is at the moment so we’re just waiting on official paperwork.”
Calls to Silverline’s central London office were going unanswered today and a voicemail account is now full.
Latest accounts filed at Companies House for 2012 show Silverline made a pre-tax profit of £230,000 on a turnover of £17.9m while it set a 2013 turnover target of £23m.
During 2012 Silverline only had 14 employees who were paid a total of more than £1.2m in wages.
