ISG is hosting an open day this week to sign-up subcontractors for its four year capital build framework with Cleveland Fire Authority.
The breakfast event will be held on Thursday March 6 at Hartlepool College of Further Education, from 8.00am to 10.30am.
The Cleveland framework covers the construction of four new local fire stations and a new headquarters for the Fire Authority in Hartlepool.
ISG is looking to procure a high proportion of the materials and trade packages required to deliver these projects from locally-based specialist firms.
Alan McCarthy-Wyper, managing director of ISG’s Construction business, said: “This event provides an excellent opportunity for high quality local construction trade specialists to learn more about the opportunities associated with this major regional framework.
“A key element of the day is exploring the wealth of skills, training and apprenticeship opportunities we will look to create over this four year period, providing a long-lasting skills legacy that will not only benefit the local Hartlepool economy, but also the wider construction industry.”
