The authorities are looking for an ECI contractor to construct the new 9.8 km highway.

The new route will start at the Goat roundabout (A499 / A487 junction) and terminate at the Plas Menai Roundabout.

Work will also include eighteen structures comprising seven bridges and eleven culverts.
