The Lakesmere Group company has already worked on the successful first building on the site.
McMullen will start on a ‘fast-track’ installation for phase two in August to deliver a unitised glazing system to the facade of the new four-storey building in just eight-weeks.
Work will also include the installation of an anodised rainscreen cladding system and a traditional ‘stick-built’ facade for the facility’s large atrium.
The unitised system will be designed and manufactured off-site at McMullen’s factory in Moira, Northern Ireland.
The first phase of the University’s state-of-the-art scientific research facility officially opened in 2012 and is named after past Nobel Prize winner, Sir Ronald Ross.
