Contractor hunt starts for new £27m Surrey school

The bidding race has begun for a new £27m school and sixth form college in Hersham, Surrey.

The Academy Trust governing the Rydens Enterprise School and Sixth Form College have published an OJEU notice for their expansion plans.

A new school and college is being funded by selling off excess land at the site for redevelopment.

The new scheme will be built on the existing playing fields and the work is set for completion by September 2016.
