Now construction work on The Crescent retail and cinema complex will start in June.

B&K will build a cinema, Sainsbury’s, five restaurants, 18 shops, some offices and a five-stop bus station

Final legal agreements have now been signed and the Borough Council is about to give notice to all landowners on the bus station site of its intention to proceed with the work.

Leader of Hinckley and Bosworth Council Stuart Bray welcomed the development. He said: “This is great news for people in the town. Hinckley’s long awaited five screen cinema will soon be a reality. Now we can expect to see work happening on the ground within weeks.”
