Capita, working in conjunction with URS and PA Consulting, was named preferred bidder earlier this year.
It is now due to sign the 10-year strategic business partner deal worth £400m after a 10-day standstill period.
The team will then work with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation to help improve the running and development of the 23,000 hectare estate.
Their first task is to deliver an 18-month transformation project to act as the blueprint for the future strategic asset management of the estate.
URS will support the operational management of the estate and management of capital projects.
PA Consulting will provide expertise in managing complex change programmes for MoD.
The Government has high hopes the new set-up will deliver substantial savings for the taxpayer, which could reach over £300 million a year during the 10-year contract.
