Mace has been selected as one of the partners on One Housing Group’s construction framework.

With work valued at £500m over four years, Mace will be tendering for projects over £10m, supporting OHG’s development programme.

As many as 20 firms are believed to have secured a place on the framework, which is divided into contract value bands of £0-£5m, £4m-£12m and over £10m.

One Housing Group is a leading provider of housing, care and support across London and the South East managing over 15,000 homes in 26 boroughs.

It has set an ambitious target of delivering 1,500 units each year through the framework.

Mace has built a strong track record in the delivery of housing projects, including Hackney Homes, Silchester Estate for Peabody Trust and Greenwich Square with L&Q Housing Association.

Mace Project Director, Terry Arnold, said that firm would bring expertise in value management and engineering and has a reputation for developing innovative solutions, including the use of Modern Methods of Construction.

“I’m delighted that Mace has been appointed to One Housing Group’s four year framework, which is a significant win for the team.  Mace has a good deal of experience in residential construction delivery that we will be able to bring to bear on this programme of work.”
