National housing charity Chapter 1 and their professional team are looking for trade contractors interested in working on the refurbishment and conversion of Hoegate House in Plymouth to form 33 new flats.
The charity said: “Chapter 1 is committed to supporting the community in which it operates and as such are particularly keen to hear from local and regional firms who are interested in any of these packages.
“The project team is offering 21 day payment terms to those working at Hoegate House in the hope that this encourages local SMEs to participate.”
Trade packages are available for:
- Soft strip and demolition including asbestos removal
- Scaffold
- Structural works
- Tanking
- Lift
- Internal partitions
- Soundproofing
- Roofing including leadwork and rainwater goods
- External repairs
- Drainage
- Hard and soft landscaping
- Mechanical, electrical and public health installations
- Glazing
- Carpentry and joinery
- Ironmongery
- Commercial kitchen
- Flooring
- Decorating
Work will start on site site in July with a construction programme of nine months.
All suppliers and sub contractors will need to complete a short pre-qualification questionnaire.
