APS is the first UK company to place orders for the Genie Z-33/18 lightweight compact electric boom and Genie Z-62/40.
Richard Tindale, Sales & Marketing Director for IAPS Group, which owns APS, said: “Having seen and tried these new products, we had no hesitation in placing orders.
“We wanted to give our loyal customers the very first opportunity in the UK to benefit from the advanced features and performance that these superb new Genie machines offer.”
The Z-33 is an all-electric lightweight self-propelled articulated boom lift with 12m maximum working height and 4.3m of ‘up and over’ clearance.
With minimal tail swing, a tight turning radius and capable of passing through standard double doors; it is ideal for working indoors or outside and is perfect for tasks on sensitive floors such as in airports, shopping centres and theatres.
The new Z-62 articulating boom lift replaces the popular Genie Z-60/34. Working height increases from 20.4m to 20.9m and maximum horizontal outreach extends to 12.5m compared to 11.0m on the Z-60.
Up-and-over clearance remains an excellent 7.8m with a maximum lift capacity of 227kg. The new Z-62 has zero rear tail swing and minimal front turntable tail swing in the stowed position.
APS has a longstanding relationship with Genie, having successfully marketed its aluminium material and personnel lifts in the UK for many years.
