Government procurement body UK Shared Business Services has published an OJEU notice for the deal to build the new food lab for the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.

The winning contractor will work with the existing design team during the two stage design and build tender process for the Centre for Food and Health.

The centre will provide 13,000m2 of integrated laboratory and office accommodation for 300 researchers, clinical space for 40,000 day-procedure endoscopy cases per annum and a clinical research facility for trials volunteers.
