Redevelopment of the former Mulberry Business Park at Canada Water in south London will provide 770 new student bedrooms in a series of stepped blocks between four and nine storeys high.
The site will also contain 33 affordable homes, shops, a health centre and a 50,000 sq ft, eight-storey office block.
The two firms are understood to have just submitted final tenders for the large student village, near Surrey Quays.
Turner and Townsend are the main cost consultant, with AECOM providing M&E design consultancy for the scheme.
The scheme is designed around two u-shaped blocks, separated by a tree-lined central high street
