LHC estimates the New Homes framework of key off-site homes suppliers for housing associations and council clients in England, Wales and Scotland could be worth up to £240m over four years.

Interested contractors and manufacturers are being invited to join a market testing exercise ahead of short listing for the tender process.

LHC will also be holding a number of workshops for prospective tenders, ahead of rolling out the winners in May.

Tenders will be separately invited for England, which will be split into eight regional lots, while Scotland and Wales will have a total of five regional lots.

Firms will be invited to compete for projects of under or over 20 homes, and low rise or medium rise schemes.

LHC said tenders will be weighted 70% on quality and 30% price. A key focus will be placed on project management, product quality and compliance with relevant funding bodies and technical regulation.
