The batch consists of seven secondary schools located across Bradford, Kirklees and North Yorkshire and is expected to cost £100m-£150m to deliver.
Laing O’Rourke beat rivals BAM and Morgan Sindall to design and build the schools as well as handle maintenance over a 25-year period.
A joint venture between Interserve and Kajima landed the first £150m PF2 contract for Hertfordshire, Luton and Reading.
Morgan Sindall has also scored a success picking up a £120m batch of PF2 schools in North East England, while Miller Construction took the Midlands PF2 batch, also worth £120m.
More than 8,100 pupils will benefit from the construction programme in Yorkshire, as pupils at each school will be taught in new, purpose-built buildings.
