Betting Spy: Great escape is on for Leicester

The great escape looks on for Leicester City who seem to have run into form at the right time.

Two more wins could be enough to save them from relegation so the Foxes will surely be going all out to beat a Newcastle side who are an embarrassment to the famous black-and-white stripes.

Fear of getting on the wrong side of manager Nigel Pearson should be enough to guarantee 100% from the Leicester players.

Meanwhile Newcastle seem happy to coast through every 90 minutes until the end of the season as their recent form figures of LLLLLLL highlight – and no my keyboard didn’t get stuck,  they really have been that bad.

Leicester are even money for the win so let’s double them up with Man City to win away at Tottenham.

Spurs are another side who have eased off the gas but City are playing for their manager’s future and should have enough up front to out score Tottenham.

The double pays 3/1 which looks a decent punt.

The main sporting action of the weekend is over in Las Vegas where Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao do battle in the bout we’ve been waiting years to see.

I love these big Vegas fights – but they certainly take it out of you.

My cunning plan is a few beers after West Ham to deaden the pain of the Sam Allardyce show before hitting the hay at midnight with the alarm set for the early hours.

No doubt it will play out with those after-match drinks stretching on for ever leaving me nodding on the sofa while trying to focus on the fight with one-eye closed.

The whole world wants nice guy Manny to win. But I fear another points victory for Mayweather.

I’ll just be glad to stay conscious longer than the fighters.
