The latest framework covering £320m of new build work over the next four years has seen a major root and branch shake-up in the panel of firms.
Cheltenham builder E G Carter and Southampton-based Drew Smith are the only two previous framework winners to retain places.
Previous framework firms like Bullock, Galliford Try, Rydon, Lovell and Osborne have dropped out of the Sovereign Development Consortium main contractor framework.
Sovereign Development Consortium is an alliance of eight general needs landlords and specialist housing providers based around the south and south-west of England. It includes: Ability Housing Association; Advance Housing and Support; Brunelcare: Cottsway Housing; Housing Solutions; Sovereign Living.
