Kier has won the deal to develop a new operational training and community safety facility at the site of an old paper mill in Bury.
The project includes the refurbishment of the mill as well as the construction of a number of new buildings.
Kier is seeking subcontractor partners with specialisms including joinery, tiling, glazing and soft landscaping to help it deliver the works.
Constructionline will be hosting the Supplier Engagement Day on Wednesday May 13 at Bury Fire Station.
Aaron Good, client relationship manager at Constructionline, said: “This is a great opportunity for Bolton and Bury subcontractors to win work on their doorsteps – which they may not otherwise have been able to gain access to.
“The event has been designed to help suppliers understand what is required of them before they begin submitting tender information, as well as enabling Kier Construction to build a quality, local supply chain cost-effectively.”
The event will run from 9.30am until 3pm and suppliers do not have to be a Constructionline member to attend.
