The show from 2 -4 June at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome in Lutterworth, Leicestershire will play host to every type of construction machine and allow visitors to watch many operating in real site conditions.
More than 342 exhibitors have committed to the show, and of these half will be exhibiting at the event for the very first time.
The exhibitor list reads like a ‘who’s who’ in the construction equipment market with all of the key OEM’s exhibiting including Caterpillar, JCB, Volvo, Hyundai, Takeuchi, Bobcat, Case, BOMAG, Terex attending this year.
Many exhibitors will be encouraging visitors, who present the correct operator’s licence, to try the kit first hand and put the machines through their paces on one of the many demonstration areas.
Rob Oliver, chief executive of CEA said, “Walking the Plantworx trade show site at Bruntingthorpe is an impressive experience.
“We are offering exhibitors the ultimate “level playing field’– exhibits will occupy an area equivalent to all of the Premiership football teams’ pitches added together”
This year students and teachers from primary and secondary schools and colleges will be able to visit the show and get a taste of the construction equipment sector.
Plantworx visitors and exhibitors will also be able to bring younger family members or friends of the family interested in the construction equipment industry to the final afternoon of the show.
The Plantworx team is confident that by inviting young people to attend the exhibition, whether with student groups or with parents or guardians – seeing machinery in ‘real working site conditions’ and talking to machine specialists and operators it will encourage their interest in the construction equipment industry – whether it be as a plant mechanic, a plant operator or an engineer.
Visitor registration is open for Plantworx and entry is free for more details and to see a full exhibitor list visit www.plantworx.co.uk.
