Home Group starts £1bn new-build framework race

Social housing landlord Home Group has started the hunt for contractors to deliver its £1bn new-build programme over the next four years.

The framework agreement will be split into seven regional this time with lots of around five firms appointed to each region.

Regions of operation include North East, Cumbria, Yorkshire, London, Southern (east), Southern (west) and Scotland, with around 250 homes being delivered in each lot worth up to £143m.

Firms have until 21 October to complete questionnaires, which are available from the procurement portal.
