The firm, formerly known as Trent Valley Construction, turned over around £7m and acted as a small main contractor delivering building and civil engineering projects up to £5m across the East Midlands, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.
Based in South Hykeham, near Lincoln, the firm, which was established 13 years ago, had been suffering from cash flow difficulties as a result of a large loss on a contract.
A spokesman said: “The business has now effectively ceased to trade, subject to efforts to assist customers in ensuring that contracts currently in progress can be completed in the best way possible.”
The administration leaves Trent Build with around five unfinished contracts.
RSM Restructuring Advisory has been appointed joint administrator.
