The event, hosted by Constructionline on 18th May 2016 at Double Tree by Hilton in Woking, is open to all subcontractors and tradespeople based throughout the region.

Farrans recently opened a new office in Woking to provide support for its projects in the South East.

The company now wants to meet specialists in scaffolding, metalwork, brickwork, groundworks, flooring, piling, roofing, curtain walling and windows, mechanical & electrical, formwork, structural steelwork, demolition, landscaping, cladding and painting.

Warren Wright, regional director at Farrans Construction, said: “Our decision to open a base in the South East came on the back of the increase in activity we have seen across the region, as well as our desire to build even more local contacts to help carry out upcoming work.

“We’re looking forward to the event and meeting our future supply chain partners face-to-face. Our procurement staff will be available to answer any questions local firms may have and discuss the best ways to approach working with us.”

Scott McVey, business development manager at Constructionline, said: “Contractors and clients are keen to work with local firms, but can find it difficult to meet with them.

“Our event is designed to bring both parties together and give subcontractors the vital information they need before submitting tender information to help make the procurement process as smooth as possible for all involved.”

The free event will run from 1.00pm until 7.30pm. Suppliers do not have to be a Constructionline member to attend.
