The frameworks will be used for mainly maintenance works broken down into several lots covering work rising from £5,000 to the largest lot for projects valued from £1m to £5m.
The work will cover upkeep of 9000km of highways, including 900km of principal roads, 1600 road bridges, 2500 footbridges with schemes.
On the £400m civils framework, the largest value lot covers projects across North Yorkshire, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds, Wakefield and York over the next four years.
Nine firms have won places on the £1m-£5m larger project lot, while another eight firms were selected for the similarly valued largest lot for carriageway resurfacing works, which runs for two years and covers North Yorkshire and York.
