Highways and general civils director Gary Crisp is leaving after three and a half years with Morgan Sindall. During his time leading the highways and general civil engineering business he grew turnover from £25m to £125m across a broad portfolio of customers.
Neil Barnes, Morgan Sindall’s rail director is also exiting in the senior reorganisation of infrastructure under managing director Nick Fletcher. Barnes joined Morgan Sindall just over three years ago from Balfour Beatty.
The departures come as infrastructure is divided into five distinct sectors to give a focus on delivering in key growth sectors.
The new senior team sees Keith Cannin head up aviation, Bill Gifford run highways and general civils, Mike Turner, commercial director at rail, steps in as interim rail boss, Paul Gott becomes chief of major projects and Simon Smith heads up utility services.
A company spokesperson: “Morgan Sindall has a very strong track record in infrastructure and we see significant potential to grow our business further.
“We have a very strong leadership team in this field, supported by experienced and dedicated teams, which gives us great confidence in our future prospects.”
