More than 7,000 votes have already been cast for the Construction Enquirer Awards as voting approaches the halfway stage.

Contractors, clients and suppliers are battling it out to be named Top Ten winning companies.

Companies are mobilising their staff and supply chains to vote in the only awards where winners are chosen by thousands of your peers.

Online voting will continue throughout August with Top Ten winners revealed in September.

Wholesale voting will make a Top Ten place a real badge of honour awarded to construction companies by construction people.

One contracting director said: “These awards really are unique because you have to win the backing of the industry.

“We are encouraging our staff and suppliers to support us but at the end of the day it is up to them to show they think we are a good firm by taking the trouble to vote.”

You can vote for your own company if you think they are a great employer.

And you can vote for main contractors and clients who do business in the right way by looking after their supply chain.

Winners in each category will be decided by the number of votes in relation to the size of their workforce and turnover to make sure everyone has an equal chance.

The flood of votes has highlighted the benefits of backing the awards as a sponsor as the buzz around the event continues to grow.

Construction giants McNicholas and Kier are inaugural sponsors of the event.sponsors

Further sponsorship opportunities are available to associate your brand with awards which are engaging the whole of construction.

The whole supply chain including clients, contractors, specialists and suppliers will be at the awards evening on October 18 held alongside UK Construction Week in Birmingham.

Award category sponsorship packages cost £7,500 including a table of ten on the night.

Other sponsorship packages are available from £2,000 – for more details please email Lucy Stott

Tickets for the awards night cost £250 or £2,500 for a table of ten.
