Momentum Infrastructure was created last year to bid for the HS2 rail project, which will run between London, the Midlands, Manchester and Yorkshire.
He recently joined Galliford Try as major projects managing director from Leighton Contractors in Australia, where he was project director on the $3bn Sydney Metro NW OTS project.
Previously he spent over 30 years with Skanska, which included leading the £1bn M25 DBFO widening works and a number of the major contracts on HS1.
