The proposed Polden Court scheme is located to the west of the campus, and will offer 293 ensuite bedrooms in 37 flats across two buildings.
Vinci is understood to have beaten Midas and ISG to the job.
The flats would be organised in pairs with a shared kitchen, diner and flexible social space and easy access to the buildings’ gym, communal study spaces, drying rooms and cycle stores.
Bath University President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dame Glynis Breakwell, said: “State of the art accommodation on campus is essential to maintain the high-quality experience we offer our students.
“This building is the next step in our strategy to attract students of the highest calibre to Bath.”
