Four firms – BAM Construction, Interserve, Kier, Willmott Dixon – secured the lot covering major projects worth more than £12m, which is expected to be worth over £224m during the next four years across Wales.
The IHP Consortium – featuring Vinci and Sir Robert McAlpine – will take the place of reserve contractor.
Three firms made the project manager panel for major projects: Gleeds, Mace and Turner and Townsend,
The new framework replaces the Welsh Government’s ‘Designed for Life: Building for Wales 3’ National Framework, which included Bam Construct, Balfour Beatty and Interserve.
Projects worth between £4m and £12m have been split into three regional lots covering south east, south west and north Wales.
The same four main contractors will cover these regions, also joined by Dawnus.

For schemes with a capital value of less than £4m, each Health Board/Trust is responsible for making its own arrangements to procure works and each will have either traditional tendering or framework arrangements in place.
