The Follingsby Max development could eventually offer 2.5 million sq ft of space.

Site infrastructure and enabling works have started with fully serviced plots due to be available for main construction to start early next year.

Andy Bruce, Managing Director of GMI said: “Having commenced the infrastructure and enabling works this summer, we are delighted to have been awarded the construction contract for Follingsby Max.

The development is situated close to the A1M, A19 and directly off the A194(M) with good access to Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland and South Tyneside.

It is situated in a prime location for logistics and offers Grade A specification B2 or B8 use units in a range of sizes from 200,000 sq. ft up to 2,500,000 sq. ft.
