The firm will deliver the fit-out for 100,000 sq ft of category B fit-out at HMRC’s new building in Bristol, next to Temple Meads railway station.
The Glass Wharf project follows fit-out for the HMRC’s pilot site in Croydon.
Once completed, up to 1,400 HMRC staff will move into the new offices, located at 3 Glass Wharf, adjacent to Bristol Temple Meads Station.
The latest project to accommodate 1,400 staff in Bristol is part of the HMRC’s creation of 13 regional centres, equipped with the latest digital infrastructure.
Alongside Bristol, the 13 regional centres will include sites in Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Croydon, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, and Stratford in London.
Stewart Ward, Managing Director for Mace Interiors, said: “We are honoured to be able to work with the HMRC on such an important programme, helping to ‘future proof’ their estate and help them prepare their staff for the future.
Our work in Croydon was a big success and we are confident we can deliver another fantastic result for them in Bristol.”
